Cilajet On A 1LE
I am hoping someone with a 1LE has done the Cilajet coating and can let me know whether they also had it put on the vinyl hood wrap. I go next Thursday and want to tell them not to coat the hood if that would ruin the vinyl. Appreciate any advice on this.

I did the Opti-Coat 2.0 on my car and love it. I did not use it on the hood though. I havent put anything on the hood and have having no problems that others are speaking of. I just dry the hood after washing and its great.

Think I should keep it off the hood?

It's paint protection. You don't want, nor need it on the hood. Any coating applied to the hood (which is a matte vinyl) will cause a shiny appearance.

Thanks, I just got it on my car and it looks great. I didn't get it on the hood like you said. I think it would have ruined it because of how shiny it is.
