I like what they did to the front. It really does look like an improvement when you see it side-by-side with the non-refresh car.

It's just the rear that I can't get my head around. And more than anything, it's that boxy, cavern of a license plate area, where two unlike materials come together that bothers me in some kinda big way.

That looks so much better than the previous pics of the SIM. Very aggressive looking. I wonder if there is a way to remove the widely hated chrome strip that will be on the RS car?

God those tail lights are freaking ugly, especially in the pictures near the 5 th Gen.
What the hell was GM thinking, man!!
I will say my car with that new 14 1LE Hood would look outstanding!

If they had just make ONE update/refresh to the rear - even if that was horrible - it could be taken. But instead they:

-Re-shaped the trunk: A wash
-Re-shaped the spoiler: Worse IMO
-Overhauled the tail lights: Much worse - but tolerable IMO
-Made the diffuser higher: Far worse. Looks too "heavy" and "incompatible" with the bumper material in the license plate area.
-Massivily overhauled the license plate area: An abomination!

The license plate area looks like the driver backed into a wall-mounted anvil.

Side by side, the new front look is growing on me. the non-RS version seems to look a little bit better for whatever reason. The back I'm not personally a fan of, if anything the new back makes it look like every other car on the road.
