Im surprised that no one said repaint the whole car with more durable paint as I see many complaints about that. That should take a nice chunk of change.

I'd probably rebuild it into a '67 Pace Car type replica... custom blue leather interior, decals etc...

...and then I'd probably visit Katech and Pratt Miller for the powerplant.

I almost wish you hadn't said it had to be my current car, that being stated..

Lingenfelter Engine Work, how much HP, how much does it take, Pfadt coilovers for Mag Ride System, full Pfadt or Pedders suspension package.

Goal, world's fastest 5th Gen(top speed) world record in standing mile with a 5th Gen

Now it figures that a guy from North Carolina(aka sort of from the South) would start this thread(so says the guy from Alabama). You might be a redneck if you dream of what you are going to do to your Camaro when you win the lottery.

I'd add t-tops to my 5th gen and be happy. It's the biggest thing that's missing from our cars.

Damn, I see your pic, and I like me some T Tops, but they just don't flow on a 5th Gen, they totally worked on 3rd and 4th, and nothing worked on the 2nd Gens, but the 1st and 5th just don't work with them

Would a 583 Chevy fit? If so, then I'll take one of those, two 93mm turbos, and a supercharger to wrap it all togather and place it on a replicated aluminum space frame. GFX kit, ZL1 bumper, and some pearlescent dark red paint. Lower it a 1/4 inch, new TSW Nurburgring rims, carbon ceramic brakes, killer sound system, and a custom interior with carbon fiber, aluminum and leather only (none of that hard plastics crap)
