this is becoming comical. The guy now is saying that being lazy and having a good time and being a broke dick is better than being a productive person in society, us that work and make money have it worse than him come on is this guy serious. I went to college and dont work my fingers to the bone but make a good leaving and have the things I want because I worked for them. You cant have things unless you work for them, unless they are given to you or you are millionaire which millionaires had to work for it as well. You brought it on your self, you came on here saying you live with mommy and make 200 a week and want to buy a brand new car. My question is how did the thought process go through your brain to even think about getting a new car, then come to the conclusion that you didnt know so you should as others. I can see why you arent doing anything in life.

No being realistic are the people who tell me it's not practical. I get that, I got it, I have accepted it. Time to go start making at least 3k a month.

Then there are the people who hate the idea I get to just leech off my parents, so they think, and be lazy.

somebody thats 26 years old and has gone through college supposively dont which kind of degree or what major, should have more commmon sense. Some of it just realism and tough love man, obviously your parents arent teaching or doing the right thing by you, by letting you leech off them. The thing is man you basically sit there and admit you dont do crap for your life and seem to think its ok, thats where you are getting people upset at you

You answered you own question several posts ago: Your Lazy right now. But you have the power to change that behavior.

And yes, college doesn't guarantee a great paying job. I agree, but it does increase the probability of success. So you say you graduated from college? Community college doesn't count. What degree did you major in? One that pays good money? Liberal Arts is not worth much.

AA degree the average starting wage is $24,000
BS degree $45,000 (depending on the major- CSC is closer to $50,000 or higher)
MA degree $65,000

These are average starting wages. But in order to achieve these degrees, you have to work hard. And you said yourself your lazy. So I say, "opportunity to change."

And you have a degree and can't find work. Did you go onto Monster.com and look? I've had many a student go on and find several choices.

Maybe it's time to grow up and cut the cord at home. Go out and get a real degree and then hit the streets like a lot of other people who want to succeed in life. Again, there are no guarantees in life.

No one will hand you anything. It takes a lot of hard work.

Then after a few years of work experience, go to ladders.com for your next career job.

This site is for individuals who wish to make over $100,000 a year.

So sit down and make a decision that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Let me help you get started. Forget about the Camaro.

Choose success.

"Successful people find a way."
-ancient Chinese Proverb-

Good luck and best wishes.

I'm not condoning the name calling but I'm in the same boat as you. I paid my dues...and I'm comfortably living now (working 40/week) and I can afford the things I want...but there is no way I'd be in this position if I didn't put in the time and effort earlier in life.

Moving out would be as stupid as buying a 2SS right now. That'd be money down the drain for nothing but extra lonliness and depression. Screw independence.
And BS degree = $10/hour a job these days.

Gotta start somewhere. You could get more than that if you go in the military with a BS degree.

There are kids who grew up with millionaire parents too.
115 hours? Damn, who said anything about working 115 hours? the fact is, you opened this thread, you opened it to everyone's opinion...contradictory or not, you are getting everyone's opinion, period.

Make like a Michael Jackson song....see the man in the mirror who wants to buy a $25k car + tax, license, etc. etc. etc. and only pulling in $200/wk and unwilling to work more to afford this wants in life? Yep, you also see a man who thinks working less and wanting more is a nice set of priorities.

$800+/month in your pocket

$450/month for 5 years car note -if you put down $5k towards a $30k car (car cost including tax, license, fees, and few dealer options)

$150/month minimum for car insurance

$150/month minimum for gas

$20 car care and maintenance

$30 entertainment

you are at $800 and you haven't even eaten yet! Or set aside $ for other living expenses

But you can do it!
