It was... it's an LS3 though. It should give a good formula for getting there in our cars too. Just need to calculate the compression bump he needs to get where he wants to go.

I think his driveline is even bulkier than ours too.

Actually you're right... it's not that good of a comparison. His is an M6. I always get his cars mixed up.

In any event... that's still how you do it!

No I took a break from the lounge because mlee convinced me to give that lounge another shot. This is just ridiculous though. I'm sure they are debating it, which is a good thing.

If so, can you share the raod map to get there.

Thanks.
Don't get too hung up on numbers since you have an auto. You will always be down on HP numbers because of it but can still be faster on the road.

Plan yourself a solid build and the track will be you proving ground. The auto will get you down the lane quicker than a M6 will in the hands of all but a pro. Follow Little88's guide on your engine upgrades after picking your cam and you will have a solid engine package. Converting from L99 to LS3 is always an option but not always necessary depending on your goals.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Hey guys!! Will be starting my regular chiming in starting tomorrow which is when I get my phone back good to see a help desk lol so whose the secretary? Serious note though the guys down at tsp recommended there 231/236 cam for my new setup but u think the extra cubes will absorb that cam I would like to stay with my night fury or if not go more aggressive I want to get the most horses out of this setup as possible.

Don't trade the NF for the 231/236 or any other cam that is so close to the same numbers. If your NF is in good working order... use it! I see no reason to spend money on a cam again in your case.

Well... You'll find out for free this way. If you want to go bigger down the road... get something else... but the 231/236 is not the kind of "bigger" we're talking about.

Yes that's on the ws6!

To get to 500+ I'm sure you can either do it with an Ls3 conversion and even an L99 with the big VVT cam that Rhino has a ail able now. For an L99 NA YOUr going to need Compression and aftermarket heads and a cam on the bigger side. Bplumbcrazy did it with the PRc small bore Ls7 head and Lethal's Enforcer cam. Naturally you'll need a TQ converter matched to that cam BUT those new TFS heads look very very promising as well! Both the TSP and TFS offer different valve angles allowing for better PTV clearance and bigger cams.

The finally of course is going to be a good tuner !! One that knows VVT like Rhino. Just my .2

Headers, CAI, cam, and head work should get an LS3 there.

Lethal has turned out a few 500+ autos NA.

Big Cam ,Heads, Fast, 25% UDP, Headers, CAI and solid tune. Bplum is one of them if I remember right.

Car below did it without the fast so it is absolutely attainable, just gonna take some work and a good Head/Cam setup..
