Another 500-600 from the machine shop.

The rest could be shop labor

2001 ws6, 40k miles, Ls3 416 stroker, short block built by PER the rest by me. LPE Ls3 heads milled to 12-1 comp, FAST 102, NW 102, kooks 2", dual DMH cutouts, Magnaflow C/B, BTR cam + springs. Full UMI suspension.

is this about normal or at least where i want to be with what my mods are?

Really depends on how crazy you want to get. It adds up very quickly.

I would love to get all the right tools to build my own short block. I think that would be awesome. Next time I def will. If the car sat for 2 years I'd be perfectly fine with that.
