The black SS is mine. I don't mind waiting the weekend. I work Saturday and Sunday so it's not like I'd be able to do anything anyways. Also, it gives me more time to put together all my paperwork for insurance and my loan.

Two SS's (pre sold) at Jim Falk Motors Maui if you guys want to go check them out, though i would stop in for the heck of it and BAM two of them on the show room floor.
Everyone is right, pics just dont do it justice. Flawless looking. |

Did you see what the MSRP on that 1SS is? What package was the other one? Any more pics?

Its not well know, but you can order a camaro at any dealership and have them "drop ship" (I think thats what they call it) to Servco at a slight markup. Should be around $500. Thats the service fee for receiving the car and checking to make sure its ok.
That was what I was going to do was to purchase from Camaro Scotty and have them drop ship to JN Chevy. That way I would be able to get the car for around $500 above sticker. But then I found out that Servco was selling at MSRP and that changed everything. If your still interested, drop a line to Camaro Scotty. He is well known on the Camaro5 forums. Do a search on him. So they're 2SS without the RS package? The reason I'm asking is because the SS badging on that black car looks white.

Besides windward, is it inevatable that we will be paying over MSRP here in HI? Dealership doesn't seem like they want to come down at all from 5k over, ready to buy now. Even if we find a car in the mainland at msrp well have to pay $1100 to ship matson.
Don't know what to do. |

Like I said, do a "Drop Ship". You wont have to pay Matson to ship it here. Once you order a car from a dealer, you can have to delivered to any GM dealership at no extra shipping cost straight from the factory. The only added cost is the destination fee that the recieving dealership gets for accepting the car and making sure it was recieved in perfect condition. Usually the charge is $250 - $500. You can contact the dealership ahead of time to find out how much thier fee is. Its definately worth looking in to if you want to buy a camaro for less than $500 above MSRP.
