Hemp when I moved the connection in the 2nd pic it made a difference but it's still there
There is play in the connection and when I pushed it in it definitely slowed down the hissing but won't stop it I don't know if it's my imagination or something but the exhaust seems louder then I remember, and the hesitation has not changed when I got the hissing to slow down Should I disconnect it and clean it or something? Thanks again guys you all been a great help |

Mike i'm not sure what you're hearing, but if you pushed that connector in and the sound got quieter, then i'd guess you just created another vacuum "leak" at the connector that diverted some of the existing leak. Have you tried completely removing the can yet?

Get the headers first and go from there. They will alter the sound the most. Decide what changes you want to make once the headers are installed. I like the H pipe sound better than the X. To each their own though.

Yeah. Those are all vacuum lines. If you broke the seal you just influenced the vacuum system in general. Can you make a video of what you're hearing? Maybe we're just misunderstanding your problem.

I don't mean you have 2 persistent leaks now... Just that those connections seat under vacuum. So you can fiddle with them and affect the seal.
