D@MN!!! That looks GOOD!!! I'm diggin those QTECs. Do they leak at all or anything. That'd be my only concern.
BAD@$$ ![]() I meant to add that though my tuner prefers Kooks, I think the ARH are at least as good a product. Also, with they merge collector, I believe the scavanging would be even better. They also have so many options, they can make exactly what you need. I know Koos has almost the same options, but, at least in the past, you had to pay a lot more for true merge colllectors. I know they revised their collectors, something like a year ago, however, the ARHs are true merge collectors. I haven't had either of them, however, I've had two sets of QTP LTs - one with standard collectors, and a second set with their high velocity merge collectors. I can tell you that I gained 10+ RWHP on the same dyno with the merge collectors. Conditions were even worse too with the merge collector tests. IMVHO - if you can afford merge collectors; get 'em. It's been said that each engine and combination is different, the you have to actually tune the collectors and primaries to extract maximum power, however, these go a long ways toward scavanging. It's not only about flow any more; it's getting that combustion chamber completely cleared of the old used mixture and having the purist new mixture in there for maximum efficiency and power.

AR Headers use a thick flange at the Head which prevents warping. We run them and they are hands down the best on the market for fitment, quality and performance. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email us anytime! We're an authorized AR Headers Dealer along with Magnaflow.

These do look great! Thick flanges and lots of room for the plug wires.

Notes for anyone wanting to fab something like this:
those tubes that lead to the valve bodies, make those shorter, but not so short the motors get too close to the header. This will get the outlets away from the frame rails. Fab up a nozzle that faces the rear of the vehicle, as long as you dare, remember this tubing assembly is going to twist and vibrate, a lot! This will get the exhaust away from the windows, almost. The QTP unit I bought has a small 2 button remote (blue LEDs) the either fully opens or fully closes the valves (left button) or positions the valve in one of 100 increments! You can preprogram 2 settings. I'm looking for a setting for best low note and one for best performance. - a mute button for open headers, brilliant! I'm picking up the microphone tomorrow, dyno wednesday This is not my picture, but I love it, those are the outlets I want: |

Over the years I've learned that you really do get what you pay for with this stuff, do it right the first time and go with American Racing Headers! |
