I agree with all others in here so far though, the ones listed are not bad options.

I do like the Mantic's and that is what we sell (FSP), but I personally have experience with the Monster Single Disk stage III on my own car as it fit my needs. Also I got it a phenominal deal on it which helped sway me lol.

So Mantic/Monster/Street Slayer and absolutely McLeods should be in the conversation are all awesome clutches.
I'll start doing my research on them and see what will fit me best. I drive my car hard when I'm home to drive it which is usually comes out to about a week at home. It sucks because the closest track to my house is about an hour and a half away and every time I think I'm going to actually be home for a full week with a weekend off I get called back out. So the majority of my driving is on the street and I definitely don't want a clutch that I have to release really hard..... I've got Rhino doing a custom grind for me so once its installed i might just have to take a few vacation days to go get some track times.

Thanks bro, I'll do some research on it and see what I can find out.

I wasn't trying to bash the Monster clutch. I had other issues involving the install and combined it left a bad taste. The clutch worked as it should, just after a month and a half I decided it was not for me. I prefer the Mantic between the two. I was looking hard at the Street Slayer but got a great deal on the Mantic. Hard to pass up. I do recommend that while your there install an SS line from Tick and a remote bleeder. Even with the remote reservoir it's nice to bleed thru the system once in awhile, especially if your tracking the car.

Got another question....
Are the gains between aftermarket heads and ported heads minimal or is their a pretty decent amount more gains in aftermarket heads?

As far as rectangular heads are concerned, the aftermarket castings allow you to add more compression and you can use bigger cams to avoid valve shrouding. All because they change the valve angles.

What if I'm wanting to keep the current cam that I'm going to have installed? Would I be better off porting and milling?

You'll have to be careful. Milling the heads will cut into your PTV clearance.

So what about just porting them? I want to maximize my set up but if the gains are going to be minimal between the two ill save alot of money by having them ported.

Are you getting one of Ryans big VVT cams?

If so sell the stock heads and buy aftermarket castings.

Edit nevermind....reading your other posts...you are an LS3.

How big? If not too big, I'd just mill them....not convinced "porting" is worth anything...never have been.

My original plan was to add VVT but I didn't want to flycut my pistons so he designed a custom grind for me. The cam is going to have a pretty healthy lift and some pretty good duration so I don't think I could get away with much milling.

It seems like you are really over the fence about either getting some headwork, or aftermarket castings. IMO, for your setup, I think you will be fine with just the cam. I personally am getting aftermarket castings, but only because I wan't to maximize my N/A setup while I have it (minus the mill job), and I know that the aftermarket heads will yield higher numbers in the future when I add FI to my setup. But for you right now? Don't worry about heads brother, just do a nice cam like the Night Fury, 545, JRE 470, etc. and be happy.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. Rhino is doing a custom grind for me. I just want to make sure I'm not leaving decent amount of hp and to behind. I already have CAI and LT and tune. While at his shop im adding under drive pulley and 3.91 gears. If aftermarket heads will add 20+ hp I will buy some sometime after the first of the year. I just want to have my car performing at max potential and not having to wish I had that extra hp that is sitting on a shelf somewhere. I'll get past this install in November then go from there.
