Seconded.
In hindsight for mine the only thing I would do different is I would get mine coated. T.

Why are Kooks out of the question? I'm not sold on the stepped headers but the regular Kooks are good. Is TSP out of the question as well? Very nice for the price and getting them coated will be the cheapest option of them all.

my ONLY issue with TSP is every now and then you are tweaking and dinging or moving a motor to get them to clear. Not always. I would guess it is a QC issue. That's why I didn't chance 'em. Not a HP issue at all.

Personally I went with the Pfadts because they were cheaper than the Kooks "stepped" the two designs Stepped and Tri-Y both historically promote TQ. The Kooks (last time I checked) would have run just shy of $2K where I got the Pfadts on a Black Friday sale from JDP for $1199 then another $160 for coating. I don't think anyone can argue with the Quality of the Pfadts and the theory between the design is sound to me but it can be debated by the Marketing Departments of the header companies while I'm burning gas.

ARH are great as well. You are going to make the same compariable power out of all of them ARH/Kooks/Pfadt/SW. TO ME Pfadt is the sexiest, and from what I have PERSONALLY installed, were the best fitting. (I have done 3 sets in my camaro club-TBC) |

That's true for all brands. Not sure I've seen anyone dicking with the Pfadts yet, but I'm sure if we give them some more time the threads will pop up.

I had arh before I upgraded to 2" tsp and I loved my arh I was just not willing to pay that big price tag over again lol arch I didn't have to mess with the motor at all they just slid right in with the tsp I had to remove the steering shaft in order for them to clear, but once bolted up it seemed like a perfect fit no rubbing whatsoever they do hang a bit low so if you're lowered watch out for bumps.

I didn't have any issues with my TSP headers. Really the only problem was I used a floor jack and didn't get the car high enough at first so I fought them but soon as I got it up a bit more they slid right in. I have plenty of clearance on both sides and haven't had a problem yet.

I have no issues with my ARH. Great quality and dropped right in with no fitment issues. No tweaking anything to fit.
