Every once in a while I still get a TPMS indicator, tires are fine, air is fine.
Someone asked about Steering Wheel control of music. Radio can be controlled using the steering wheel controls, not USB music. Now possibly if music was stored on the SD card, it may control. Just haven't had time to test everything. I am not a fan of the Bluetooth phone usage and people on the other end report it sounds like I am in a tunnel. Haven't messed with it much, but not a fan of it. Everything else has remained steady. I still have not had a lock up or freeze (knock on wood). Still happy with it and it still looks better then stock. Not sure how long boot up time is, but music starts up on last radio station. While booting reverse camera works. I uninstalled iGO (preinstalled) navigation as the speech was not that good. Installed CoPilot from Play Store (free) and it works and sounds like a champ. Also saw someone ask about the car functions that used to be controlled by the stock radio (climate, convenience, security, etc). They are all still there, there is a CANBUS menu app that accesses them so that you can change them. Maybe after Christmas i can try to put a video together of how it works. If I am lucky in the next few weeks I plan on adding in another camera to the front and maybe when I pull it out I can at least show how/where everything is hooked up. |

Hi Guys,
i'm interessted at that unit. In Europe nobody has installed it until now. I have some questions about this radio system. Cameras Does anyone have 2 parking camera's (front and back) installed? How get 2 cameras connected to the radio? How will the front cam activated? Automatic by car speed over the canbus? or awkward manually in the menu? Bluetooth Telephone i like the handsfree built in speakerphone from the stock radio. works that fine by this unit? works the existing chevy factory microphone in der frontscreen frame plug'n'play with the unit? Steering wheel controls Seemingly works they not 100% like on the factory radio. i can't jump to next track by CD or USB music? USB Port in console my factory USB operates normally?

Odds are the front camera would be activated via the menu. It'd be a lot of work to integrate the camera into the CANbus speedometer value.

When it is not 10 steps vie menu than can i live with that. Would not be activated every parking, only when it is tricky.
How get the 2nd cam wired to the radio?

The bluetooth is not very good for telephone calls. Flawless with streaming music, but I am guessing the speaker that is built in sucks or just doesnt work. Music control through the steering wheel works well with the Ipod, which initially I didnt test, but have now. Radio stations ticks it up a tenth, for example 95.10 to 95.20, doesnt tap through saved stations. USB I can't remember, but I will test it and give you an answer. I want to say no, but I will doublecheck. |

I have not seen 2 RCA Inputs for cameras on the pictures in this thread. But after your post i think it have 2?
For handsfree calling not the factory speakers work and music is muted? Only a crapy built in from the radio? Thanks for testing the factory USB in center console.

Of course, if there are two RCA plug ins then you don't need to complicate it with a relay. |

As for the cameras, attached is a picture that show on the very top yellow and red RCA connections. The picture wasn't intended to show the various plugs, but trust me, there is without a doubt a plug for 2 camera inputs and then other inputs for audio. Then there is always a USB plug in for a camera as well. I am on vacation next week, so I may just be pulling it out one more time to add the front camera. But whenever I do I will take some pictures of how the camera is hooked up and the top of the unit which shows where to connect things. |

@bnorman ![]() But slowly i think that unit is not an option for me. Disadvantages are getting bigger compared to the stock radio. And only because of the Optics I probably will not change. Currently i am also in contact with autospatech for navigation. let's see what there comes out.

It's kind of fallen through. The guys who have it haven't really been commenting, but talking with the manufacturer it looks like this is a cheap knock off of MyLink. |
