Camaro 5 UK Spring 2014 Meet Up

Yeah, that's my concern, DNAudus to get the tickets/money instead of any double-payment at the gate...

Paying per-person is a good way to reimburse DNAudus £outlay for us all IMO :-)

I'll mark Adam Brand of WH Brand Chevrolet Dealership down as PAID for now.

Having been to the Fast Show the past 2 years, i can confirm it is £20 per person, not per car, You can indeed pay on the gate on the way in, If we have a display you should be provided with what section your stand is in, which you display in your window so the stewards know where you can go and cannot go. Hopefully it is by the main paddock/strip as it is concrete, whereas the poorer sections for displays are on grass also not as populated. If you merely pay on the gate you will only be parking in the car park (grass) with everyone else going on the day (unless you have a stand pass).

You will only be provided with a certain amount of stand passes for each car going on display. You cannot turn up on the day and buy a stand pass at the gate, they are already distributed between the car clubs/displays.

Here is a pic of last years layout, Orange and purple is grass. Red/Green/Blue and Yellow are the best parts for displays. Last Year i was with number 23 in the green section very good area. The better sections are for people who have booked up months in advance or are good friends with the organisers, Seeing as DNAndus paid up quite a few months ago we may have a good section

If it pissed it down like last year you defo do not want to be on the grass, I saw cars get bogged down and pulled out by tractors

Ok, so my dad is now in new York when the show is on so can't make it.

I do however want two tickets off you Damian for my other half and I. I agree there is no point in paying at the gate on the day and know why. I just need another payment method other than PayPal as mine doesn't work. I'm happy to send a cheque in the post for instance. I know I mentioned this to James but I hadn't heard anything yet?

I'm definitely coming, I have a hotel booked and paid for already Really looking forward to it!!

Our Chinook will air-drop my Camaro.
I'll be sky-jumping in from the International Space Station.

I hope you enjoyed the afternoon session James - was it German larger or good old scotch whisky ? Or maybe something more chemical based

Sorry for the late reply Rick... We dropped behind the Horizon, over, beep!

No, I don't need any assistance to have a wild imagination :-)

Anyways, off now... time for the King of The Potato People to do his dance...

Oh very nice Tim, I know you said you'd been after one. Has Chevy gone then?

Another couple of weeks with the Camaro, as the Bentley is going off for a Bentley dealer service, and then all the faffing about with insurance, bank transfers etc. By the way, it's not a new Bentley, I'm not in the same league as "Rich" Rick Martens. It's 10 years old, 28000 miles, with a dealer service every year, which should mean I can enjoy the 550bhp W12 power, with few worries, other than the 15mpg.
