I have been driving for 28 years and never had or needed hud. I think I can live without it, but hey what ever floats your boat.

Yeah, well I've been driving for ten years and people my age love to have more technology than we will ever need shoved into our cars

Seems like when I try to post I get something like this back. I will go back and join the many lurkers that don't want to be bothered with this kind of crap.

Calm down. He's just trying to inject some humor into the thread. Jesus.

You posted YOUR opinion of what you thought and you get offended when someone else does the same? Come ON! Some of these posters have more knowledge about the Camaro and cars in general in their little finger than most people will ever have. Don't ask a qustion if you might not get the answer you want.

I've been driving for 31 years and know how to read a map. I don't need a built in NAV system. A portable unit to go from car to car will be just fine once I decide I want/need one. I certainly don't want it built in to the dash.

I have had H.U.D. in a car and I thought it was pretty damn nice. A necessity? Not at all. A cool option to have offered? Absolutely!

The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."

Hey CamaroScotty, sorry for the incorrect terminology thanks for setting me straight! Head or Heads Up Display hope it shows up in the 2011 2SS Convertible!

That's not true. It is recommended that there be a special coating to prevent 'ghosting' of the image but it's not a requirement. Alternatively a 'patch' can be put on just like do-it-yourself stick-on window tint.

Umm, I don't think that any human being can actually fit back there without becoming crippled for life.

GM should advertise the back seat as a 'Padded Luggage Surface"
