I think the ZL1 parts, the splitter, diffuser, extractor, and rockers really pop against the yellow. I LOOOOVVVVEEE my car and have no complaints. But if I could go back in time I'd probably get white or yellow because of that pop.

Now then, yellow will probably get you more attention than the red, not talking about cops, but people checking out the car. Is that a good thing or a bad thing for you? Personally I'm completely cool talking to people about my car any time.

Both look awesome, although not my speed. One thing I'd mention is resale. I would think it would be much easier to find a buyer with the red car. Yellow is more polarizing.

There is no hate for yellow here, as I almost got a yellow 911 a few years back.

Good point on resale.

Buy what you think you'll like long term, not just today.

If you've always wanted red but are leaning towards yellow, go red. If you've always wanted yellow but are leaning towards red, go yellow.

I have owned both a 2007 Corvette Z06 in Velocity Yellow and the 2014 Yellow ZL1- the ZL1 is a bit lighter shade. The touch up paint for this car is labeled "lemon peel". The VY was a "tintcoat" and as such, a more expensive color option than the yellow on the current ZL1.

If they use the same cars they did in Toronto there is no yellow only three red ones that are red hot and the blue one, kind of dumb for GM to do that but once you see the red I think your mind will be made up good luck let us know how it goes.

Red Hot, definitely. Yellow is not my style, the last color I would ever buy. Yellow is a color you buy when you think your car isn't good looking on its own, so you buy yellow so it sticks out. It is a "look at me" color IMO. No bueno.
That Red Hot is sexy!

Decision is 100% Red Hot Now focusing on subwoofers, amp and accesories like center console lid and premium matts
