Pulled the cover off on Friday, checked the fluids, and woke Inferno from her winter hibernation. Here's a video of the first turn of the key after 4 months of slumber.

Another short video at idle after a short drive and fresh fill up.

Man, I can't wait for some nice weather to stay!

I washed mine this last weekend, so technically I drove it. Then backed it right back to where it was...

Yes, it may be too loud (did I really just say that?), verdict is still out on that. Did you get your headers installed yet?

Not yet, cars gets released from insurance (winter storage) April 1st. The second week of April it will be at Rightfootdown in IN to get the headers installed and the car tuned (maybe dynoed) depends on if I want to pay for the dyno. On my return trip I am stopping by Eric's to pick up my spoiler. Then the week after that I go down to St. Louis to nighshades to get my stripes put on and black out my roof. whew gonna be a busy month.

Wow, you are going to be busy in April. Do the dyno if you can swing it. Not only do you find out how much hp an tq you're putting out, it also tells you how the car is running across the power band. If the guy will do it, dyno it before the install for a base line, then afterwards to see how much you gained.

Just my .02 worth for free.

Could do all Gens and include Firebirds. I've had several Firebirds over the years and was very upset when Pontiac got the axe. Although, I wonder how many we would have from the central part of Illinois join the club. I just don't see that many around anymore.

I'm leaning more toward keeping it Camaro's. I do have conserns and thoughts about opening it up to all muscle cars, but don't want to air those on here. I'm now trying to decide (and welcome more input) whether to include all Gens or just modern Camaro's. I'm leaning toward 5th Gens and up with the club title of MID-ILLINOIS MODERN CAMARO CLUB. If we went all Gens, we could just drop "modern" from the name.

Again, I welcome and value input from you guys?

If you want numbers, I think you need to open it up to all Camaros.
I'm pretty sure Milesss and I know some people with first and second gen that would join.

Thanks Jim, that's good to know. I know you guys have a good network of muscle car people. Do you think it would be a benefit by opening it up to all makes, models, years?

I did a little searching and found a Midwest Muscle Car Club based out of Rantoul, IL. Never heard of it, not sure how big it is or if it's even still around.

Maybe I'm thinking about it too hard.
