Tested out the 0-60 time for the first time in its only 4000 miles using the track timer. Is it normal to have hesitation after flooring it? It's like the RPMs just shot up and took a second for the car to accelarate! I measured 6.5 seconds in S mode, but I think I did something wrong!

I have a 2014 1LT/RS, auto. So definitely going to be slower than you, but I didn't think it was more than like 1.5 seconds...

Welcome to GM's torque management. Most custom tunes can reduce or all but eliminate this programmed nanny feature that creates this delayed throttle response and shift parameters. GM uses it to prolong drivetrain wear among possibly other reasons.

Sure You... Not really, it goes damn fast.... I know how to shift, i´m german..... it felt like a blink of an eye...... and 80 on the clock... damn not even 4th.......
I just said 4 sec. because that's damn fast, less than 0 to 60 just what my mind said. Couldn´t even count .

If feel like it's more harsh on the drive train if you floor it!
