We will stay at Lowes in Newport for about 2 hours. Should leave there about 2 or 2:30. It is about 1 hour drive to Sevierville. Maybe you could just leave Lowes early enough to get back. Sure would like to you go with us!

Yep, that's the best idea I've heard in awhile! I believe this cruise is going to have a lot of cars participating....

I know this is short notice but I'm cruising Foothills Parkway and Tail of the Dragon on Tuesday April 1 if your interested. This will be my last time before it gets too crowded.

What time? It's supposed to be in the 70's here on Tuesday with a 10% chance of rain. May be a good top down day for me.
It takes me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get to the dragon.
You bringing your Wife/GF with you, just wondering if I should bring my wife....

Angrybird ....retired has it's benefits. Yes, my wife is going this is her first time on the Dragon. It looks like a fantastic day mid 70's here and plenty of sun. I would say a great top down day. This was my plan for the day. My wife and I are getting some blood work done in Maryville around 11am. We then are going to the Hobby Lobby Store right next to the Foothills Mall near Route 129. I told her we should leave around 12 noon. My route plan is 129 to the Dragon cruise it to the end stop for lunch at the Dragon General Store. Leave back through the Dragon but turn off on the Foothills Parkway back to Hwy 321 in Maryville we then plan to take 321 to Townsend for dinner at Miss Lilly's Café. You have many options meet us at Hobby Lobby or somewhere before the Dragon. You can go to Townsend with us if you like or turn off after Foothills Parkway and head back to I40. Talk with the wife if you decide to go I'll PM you may car phone number so we can keep in touch.

Sounds good, not sure if my wife will be able to make it because her mother is living with us and its hard to find someone to stay with her all day. But I would still like to meet up with you at the Foothills Mall if possible. You planning on leaving there around noon right? I will have my Go Pro so I can follow you and maybe get some video of your car on the Dragon. Just don't run off and leave me cause I only have a V6....

I'm definitely in for the April 26th cruise... I agree with Bertha II, the word is getting out fast, and I think we will have a great turnout!

Looking forward to it!
