Hey everyone. I'm from around the newton area and am looking into purchasing a ZL1 soon. I've been debating if getting the recaro seats is a must or not. Are they just as comfortable as the stock seats or are they a bit different comfort wise?

Hello my Iowa Camaro friends! Glad to see you guys getting out and enjoying your cars again. I finally installed my headers this weekend. Easiest install ever, it took a little over 2 hours. My car sounds amazing! Probably the 2nd best investment I have ever made (the Camaro being #1 Haha).

Bongo - the Recaro seats are nice and they seem like they would do exactly as they were intended to do: keep you pinned to the seat. If you are a long distance cruiser than I would suggest not getting them. They are nice but I didn't feel like they would be comfortable enough for the amount of driving that I do.

Absolutely get the Recaro seats! If you change your mind after you get your car there are numerous people around here that would trade you for those seats with me being one of those guys! Plus you can make a little money with the deal. I would love to get the new seats but I think it will be quite awhile before they are available on the market to everyone. There going to make a killing on these seats since everyone wants them so bad! Hope to see you around the block here when you finally get your car. Your going to really love your new ZL1!!

You picked it up Saturday at Runde right? I work there. Seen you pull in with the blue car. Me and a co-worker were admiring it. You'll have to come to Mystique Casino the first Tuesday night of the month starting May for Hot Summer Nights Cruise-in. All makes and models welcome, the way it should be. Lol.

New member saying hi. I have a 14 spring edition SS convertible on order - the wait is killing me. Current build date is May 5. The dawgs at the dealership wanted my Harley right away and I agreed to that - the GM wanted it for himself. Helped my trade-in though...

Its a syn - I"m an Albia native and my mom and lots of family are still there.

It's a fun forum - glad I found you guys......

Yes sir that was me. we test drove the car saturday and took delivery monday.
Thanks almost everywhere i go the 86 gets a lot of attention most people don't know what kind of car is it. yeah ill stop by Hot Summer Nights Cruise-in I went to a few of them last year.

Got my order for 2014 ZL1 Ashen Gray Metallic finalized today! Coming with Recaro seats, sunroof, carbon fiber hood insert, and the machine faced wheels!

This Thursday's car cruise is going to be at God Fathers Pizza off of 16th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids. Starts at 530. I believe there is a 60% chance of rain, but hopefully it holds off.
