WHeel Advice
So I just picked up my black ZL1 and it has the polished wheels on them. I am considering 3 options.
1. Leave the polished wheels stock 2. Sell the polished wheels and pick up a set of 10 spoke black 3. Powder coat the polished wheels I love the all black look so I am leaning that way. I would love to swap my polished for a set of black or may just go for a set of replicas. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I love this freaking car. |

It will likely be difficult to find someone to swap with you as most seem to like the black ones. If you plan to track it I'd take this opportunity to look at different rims altogether, It's hard to find the right size R comp tires for our size rims. If you don't then I'd just get a set of replicas unless you get a line on the real thing.

I chose to powder coat. I couldn't find anyone willing to swap and was tired of chasing the brake dust. I really like them powder coated.

I have the same problem. I will be powder coating mine in a couple weeks. I'm going gloss black, I'm paying about $95 a wheel.

Get a set of replicas. That is what I did and I do not regret it. Mine came from the house of wheels. Be sure and order the black lug nuts when you do.It will cost you about a grand shipped to your door.
