Trunk LED lighting

I've been very pleased with the LED lighting sources on Camaro5 and would recommend others to use them. Building on my interest I decided to add LED lighting to my other vehicles and bought some T10 base, and 41MM Festoon style LED lighting for my other cars. After searching a website called www.dhgate.com I found quite a few bulk LED options. I recently found a t10 baseLED light that provides 18SMD LED's for the Camaro trunk light. You can buy these in larger panels, but the 18smd options is like an LED shop light for your trunk! Paid about $3.75 with shipping and had to wait about 4 weeks for it to come from China, but it was worth it. The t10 base plugs into the trunk light wth 2 small wires attached to a panel with 18 LED lights that have a 3m style adhesive backing. Just thought I'd share this since it has been fun to outfit my other cars and the trunk light in the Camaro.

Just posted three pics in my profile. For some reason I can't post them in this thread with my phone.

Cool, thanks. The web site may have 20+ vendors selling the same stuff. You just have to find the best deal, quantities, and shipping. Some vendors will sell 1-2 pieces with free or near free shipping.

Did this fit into the OEM light thing (it's late at night - having problems coming up with words lol)

Yes. The stock bulb is a t10. The panel leds come with three adapters. A t10, one for festoon style bulbs, and one other. I used the 18smd panel (smd means how many led diodes are on the panel) and its plenty bright. The panels come with 3m adhesive on the back so you just pick a spot to stick it and plug into the stock t10 outlet. I've added these and other LED bulb lighting to all my cars, pop up camper, and friends cars. I buy lots of 10-30 at a time so I always have them on hand, but you can find sellers who offer 1-2 with free shipping. I've had some of these in for over a year now and no issues. Once in a while a lot will have a bad one but it's usually because I was too rough installing it.
