I've been trying to not get too ansy on mine. I haven't tried tracking the rail car yet either since I'm afraid that might make the waiting worse. Especially seeing your situation Scott. Since my "estimated" delivery date is 9th, still two days away, i will give it at least that long before I try to persue this further.
But dang it's hard just waiting. And not know if my car is in my city or just entering the US. Sucks. |

Hello my fellow 4/21's,
Well I've had the car for a few days now and still cannot remove the permigrin. Haven't had much time to take pics as I've been too busy driving ... I did snap this crappy cell phone pic the other night while stopping for dinner. Just happened to be a bumble bee parked when I pulled into the restaurant. Didn't see the owner or speak with him/her at all...Also, a note: Get your paint protection applied IMMEDIATELY. I was having to wait on my ZL1 Rockers before doing my full detail/opti-coat and clear bra installation. Already a paint chip in the gills!!! It's very small and probably easily repaired but still ![]() The rockers came in yesterday. They will be installed (along with rock guards) this weekend and paint protection will go on next week! I'll get some better pics this weekend...

Finally got an update. My dealer says the train picked up my car on the 1st. Officially they are suppose to have it delivered to my local railyard within 10 days. Once there, the trucks have to have the car delivered to my dealership. So what would put me hopefully picking it up somewhere in the next Wednesday - Friday timeframe depending on if the trucking company is lazy or not - the train railyard is only about 5 miles from the dealership.
My sales guy said they (GM or Train company?) could not release the train car number due to security reasons. Not sure about that one. But at least I'm glad my sales guy is working with me (instead of blowing me off, especially since we've already done all the paperwork) and has decent news for me. Hopefully the train company and trucking company actually keeps to their agreed timelines. So I ordered my car 3/5/14. Car was built 4/22/14. Was Bayed by 4/25/14. Loaded on train 5/1/14. And the future dates, hopefully - Delivered to local railyard by 5/11/14. Delivered to dealership by 5/14/14. And me pick up by 5/15/14 hopefully? Scott, what exactly are they telling you? I'm in S.E. Texas for reference. |

Guys,
I picked up the car on Friday. It has been at the tint/clear bra/radar install shop all weekend. I pick it up tomorrow, and I will post more pics! In the meantime here are the only two I have. Pickup and my Lucky 13! Last edited by Paladinjc; 05-11-2014 at 09:10 PM. |

Looks like I will be the last to get the 4/21 cars. I talked with the dealership yesterday and he told me that it might be somewhere around the 26th. I checked the rail car location and as of today...it was in southern Idaho. This sure is a painful wait!!!

Scott hopefully they are wrong about that date they are giving you. Supposedly the trains are running better now, so I just can't understand how it could take basically a month since producing your car to deliver it. In March, perhaps, but hopefully not now.
Only way I can see that is if Chevy has so few train cars going your direction that its hard to get a full load worthy of getting to your local railyard. Being in Montana is that possible? Anyways, I'm still not totally trusting my dealership. I hope he has good info, but until he or the chevy site confirms it's in my city or the dealership, I'll be skeptical. It might help that my dealership is in a very large city, thus the need for lots of chevy deliveries. But I'm clueless if it really works that way. |

Mine travelled through the center of the country. ..then it goes up through Idaho and into Montana (Butte) then it will get trucked back through where I live in Billings to Hardin, which is 45 miles East of me to a small town dealership! People in Europe are getting their 15's before me! Lol
