More important is to make sure the fuel is "Top Tier" certified. 91 octane minimum. As per outlined in the owners manual. Where I live Petro Canada (Sonoco) for the American peeps offer Ultra 94. I use it and am happy with it but I would use Shell or Esso (Exxon) in a pinch. Those three manufacture Top Tier certified fuels.

That looks a correct calculation. Not a huge loss in energy. But I pretty frequently pay $16.00 a gallon for top tier race fuel.

Ethanol is not bad for modern vehicles. As stated in an earlier post, it does produce less energy per volume than pure gasoline does. I can only get 93 octane locally with an E10 blend. It's fine.

My car is still 100% factory at this point and I plan to run it stock this summer to make sure the engine is ok before doing any mods that might affect the warranty. If its ok, I'll fill at the track

You can get oxygenated 104 unleaded race fuel. You definitely don't want any leaded gas through cats. I just took the cats off my car. That has pretty much always been acceptable in Oklahoma, there has never ever been emissions testing in my little town.
