I would have to look to be 100% sure, but I am not sure you can delete the folders. I know you can delete the contents, essentially cleaning out the space, but not sure about the folders.

I used the ES File Explorer provided with the system and cleaned out those folders. I think I might have even tried to rename and delete the folder, but it would not let me.

I just contacted the seller and they say they only have the 512mb units in stock, no 1Gb.

My Samsung Note 1 phone has 1Gb !
Can someone tell me if the 512mb is enough for installed apps + Torque Pro and any other apps... can I upgrade later if needed ?

Thanks

Any updates on the kit...? I would love to get my hands on one of these but fear the current bugs and little issues that it has atm... hopefully they will all be fixed. How are you guys that have purchased the kit been doing with it? any further issues or solutions to current bugs?

Thanks

I have had the original 2.34 Unit since November last year. It was upgraded in March maybe with the 4.0 OS. I have the lower end resolution and the standard memory.

In terms of glitches or bugs, those that I have had have been resolved with the exception of the Bluetooth Phone calls. Most came about when I upgraded to 4.0. iGo Navigation was a problem, radio station presets were a problem, Torque was a problem. I was able to fix iGo and Lim sent out the updates for Torque and something else that fixed the presets.

Boot time has improved since 2.34. I can run the radio or MP3's while doing the Navigation without a problem. Back up camera works fine as soon as I start the car without the system fully loaded up.

Supposedly now the new systems are a better fit with 4.0 and the other fixes already loaded on there so no having to work through problems. As for the upgraded 1GB I have no idea but I have no problems with the 512mb.

Now others have had sound issues, freezing issues, etc. I can't speak for them, but for the price to add in a back up camera, navigation, bezel/molding and a touch screen there wasn't much out there in the same price range.

Thank you Bnorman for your post

I contacted Lim but he said, he only has the unit with 512mb, no 1gb available now.

I thought I read that some got the 1gb , anyone knows if it's easy to upgrade later on ?

Thanks

I have the 1 Gig version, better said Lim has it now. Shipped back because I crashed the unit-software. The memory is plug-in so I think you can switch it afterwards.

If the memory is simply plug in can you plug in your own memory?
