I'm a Manual Shift kinda girl, but that 8 speed auto sounds really tempting! Bet that auto will be crazy fast.

That is amazing. I know I will be the only one with this thought, but I can not wait to see this thing beat the Z/28. Why, because with how many impressive cars the Z/28 has dominated, this Corvette should absolutely destroy them. And Corvettes are supposed to be faster than Camaro's lol.

I know lol, just with how the camaro has been beating up on just about anything thrown its way I have been waiting for the Corvette to come back and give it a reality check lol. In case thats not obvious, I am more partial to Corvettes lol.

It's impossible not to be amazed by what GM has done with their performance cars in the last few years

I have been reading replies on Facebook about how the GT500 has more power and will beat it down the strip or that the Viper is more car. Can't wait until the lap times and the 0-60 and quarter times come out to shut these fools up. I believe that the Corvette is one of the best cars at putting down the power!

I would assume performance figures would be on par with the outgoing ZR1.

Facebook aka the general public is way too full of people far to eager to give opinions on things they have no idea about. This Z will be undoubtedly amazing.

The C6 ZR1 was around 3,300 lbs. I would expect C7 Z06 to be closer to 3,400 lbs if not more.

Nice, I wonder what the future holds for the Z/28. Obviously they can't continue to build the LS7. I can see the SS getting the LT1. Will they drop the ZL1 and make the Z/28 a supercharged car? Will the Z/28 basically become what the 1LE is now? Or will the develop the LT1 to put out more HP for the Z/28 like for did for the Boss with the Coyote engine and give the ZL1 a detuned LT4?

I don't think they would build a supercharged Z/28 after the effort they put in the current Z/28. If anything, they would drop it all together.
