Ive read a few that had the rattle right off the lot and others with a few thousand miles. Mine is a 13 Zl1 Vert with 19K miles. Checked my VIN at the dealer and it was eligible for the repair. Taking it back in tomorrow for the technician to re-review and order the parts. Ill reply when I get the good/bad news. Knowing the dang dealer, I am sure they will not hear the squeaking from the pulley nor the knocking.

Hey Drm2Reality,

I'm bummed to hear that! I'd be happy to look into your situation further. Just send me a PM with your full contact info, VIN, mileage, and involved dealership and I'd be happy to assist with getting this addressed.

Ask your dealer to pull up Document ID # 3910786 ( bulletin # 13313 ). As of right now they are only replacing the ones that have the problem. If your dealer can't help you call 1-800-222-1020 or fax 1-800-833-2438.
I have a 2012 with 1586 miles on it, so far no noise.

Updated to my earlier post in the week -

took my 13 ZL1 Vert to the dealer last week for rattle/idle squeak at idle & NPP rattle at acceleration. Got rejected for the SC repair because they could not duplicate the issue as usual but they approved NPP exhaust replacement. Two days later, I get a call from my buddy at GM who knew of my issue and told me about the bulliten. Called my service advisor and they said they would look at it again when I bring it in to replace the exhaust. Brought it in yesterday, they approved the SC replacement and the parts will be in early tomorrow. Should be ready to go by 2PM I was told. Cant wait to drive this beast. The NPP & SC noises have been annoying.

My 2013 has 2200 miles, was rattling at start-up and at idle. I took it to the dealership and the tech noticed it right away. Some manager confirmed that it had the rattle and they had a new one over night. The car was finished at 2pm. New blower and extended warranty. Was pretty annoyed by the recall but they made it easy.

I called my dealership earlier today and even though I don't hear anything wrong with my car there going to check it out.
The one thing he said though is that the extended warranty is for the current one on. I don't think it's for the new one when you get it replaced. You sure about having the extended on your new one?
Then again maybe it's for both.

Just had my meeting with the service department and went back with the tech to show him what I heard, they decided to order the new parts to replace it on the spot and will be done next week. I think its a good piece of mind knowing that it will be brand new after 12k miles on it.

Here's the fix... Purchase a 2.55 pulley and swap to solid isolator while you're at it.

You won't be dissapointed.
