How Many ZL1 Owners On Here Have Not...
received a speeding/moving violation ticket yet? I've had my ZL1 since November and haven't gotten one ticket. I drive fast and as aggressively as a NYC cab driver when I commute (but smart and do not cut anyone off). That said, I do not drive fast on side streets because I worry about kids. I also have a Bel STi Driver radar detector.
I guess I just jinxed myself, but I was curious how many of you have avoided tickets. If you obey the speed limit, that doesn't count. Ironically, I have never gotten a speeding ticket in 26 years of driving fast cars. I guess I speed intelligently.

Knock on wood, no tickets yet in my ZL1.
Last speeding ticket was in 2010 driving through Charleston West Virginia on I-77 in of all things my 2009 GMC Acadia (vehicle was quite the speed demon). I got caught doing 70+ in a 60 zone. Officer cut me slack though by marking the ticket 69 in a 60 zone so I didn't have to pay the higher penalty for going more than 10 mph over the speed limit. If and when I do get a ticket in my ZL1, It's going to be a double whammy because I don't have a front license plate mounted.

Not a single one yet and I've owned the car for just over a year. Ironically when I had my 2010 V6 Camaro I received two speeding tickets...

No speeding tickets here "knock on wood". Have not had a speeding ticket since the early 80's.... "knock on wood" again just to make sure......

I haven't in any of my lsx vehicles. Too much liability in terms of insurance, potential for an accident, penalties etc., which makes me especially careful when I'm behind the wheel. Add to it, I am too vain with my car's appearance and condition to make me max them out (on a regular basis) on the street.
A careful romp or stab at the pedal is okay once in awhile.
