Does anyone know if the Camaro will see a Heads up Display in future versions? And will it be possible to retro fit a HUD in the 2010? My brother had this in his 03 Vette and it is a great feature.

We don't know for sure but it's suppose to maybe be next model year option. Not sure about the retro fit.

Someone modded an 01 T/A on the LS1 forum. He took one off a Grand Prix GTP and wired it in. So it is possible.

I've heard that the DIY jobs aren't nearly as good as factory because of the different windshields required.

Probably not. The HUD needs a special windshield to properly project the screen.

i have a grand prix w/ HUD. i had the HUD windshield before somoene threw a rock at it and cracked it.. i had it replaced with the cheaper nonHUD windshield because i didnt not want to spend 400 bucks for a new "HUD windshield." you can see it fine in the nonHUD windshield, the edges arent as CRISP as the HUD windshield, but still works very well..

i have installed non hud windshields in hud cars. some work some dont. the next hud car i have to install a winshield in i am going to bring both pieces of glass just to see if it works.
