ZL1 Wheels, GY Tires, and ZL1 pedals on 2011 2SS L99
While I did have my wheels painted, I've always love the ZL1 wheels. Well, I found a member of the forum who was selling his. Made the deal and just received them today.
All I can say is -- wow! Mark (Bradford) and his wife packed this like they owned them and I mean they were protected like I've never seen. It took me 45 minutes just to unpack them (Mark said he and his wife took over an hour to wrap them). All I can say is Mark and his wife are special folks -- gotta love that in this day and age. Anyway, here are some pics (its late so I'll take better ones tomorow): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Morning shots: ![]() ![]() Overall, just awesome and Mark and his wife -- you are special... Thanks! While I was at it I did the ZL1 pedals: ![]() ![]() Taking off the old pedals was EASY (3 10MM bolts on the accel pedal. Removing this connector was simple. Putting on the accel ZL1 pedal -- no problem The BRAKE pedal need to be heated to 200*. I then remove the stainless cover off the rubber, put on the new rubber piece for the pedal, use professional Super Glue, put the Stainless cover on and squeezed it on hard. Held it for 50 seconds and that was it! I did this while it was still warm (had oven gloves) and the whole thing took me 10 minutes. -Don Last edited by hammdo; 07-01-2017 at 04:45 PM. |
