Amazing how a 4$ sticker can make a car lame.

If I owned that car, there would be lots of de-badging going on, not limited to ditching the dealer plate frames, the dealer decal on the back window, and probably discarding the Z26 decals since, well, I'm old enough to remember, and have loved, the Chevy Beretta. GM FWD performance, FTW
i had 2 Beretta's, both 1988...first was a GTU and second was a GT. they were fun cars.

I remember when I was a youngin in the early 90s I thought those Z26's were so cool, especially the pace cars!

I was never a Z26 fan, but I remember all the talk about the Pace Car edition and then the disappointment when it wasn't a convertible.

I'm pretty sure the Cavalier had a Z24 (guess I could use Google, but why?)

This was in the 80's but I remember liking the wheels with the fancy ceramic tiles.

The Z24 was a sport model in the Cavalier lineup, an option package you could order from the factory.

Z22 was a dealer add-on package for base model Cavaliers. Decals and maybe a trunk spoiler or something...it's been a LONG time since I've seen one.

There were no ceramic tiles on the square-holed Z24 wheels. They were machined aluminum with a plastic square center cap.

And that was exactly what it had on the exterior! Plus the wheels.

At least they could have had some kind of metal emblem made, kind of like the SS or RS logos......the decals look soooo cheezy!!!!

Back in the 60's and early 70's the RPO z26 was the code to order an SS.
