I bet GM wishes they had that 2.0L DI TC set for the Camaro already. It would be a huge hit with the tuners. In fact, I firmly believe given the market we're seeing now GM would miss a huge opportunity if they didn't offer that as a base engine as part of a 2-ish year refresh.

So will Chevy be giving out its test mules to be reworked by these aftermarket companies? That would be a better fate than the crusher and so would my driveway . . .

This is great news. You know that there will be a lot of aftermarket parts on display for this and I really am hoping that GM lets a couple of them get mod'ed for the show. I have to imagine that they will since it will be such good PR.

I have a bad feeling that SEMA won't work out. I sincerely appreciate the offer and if ANYTHING changes, I'll be sure to give you call asap!!

wow...I'd like to go to SEMA.The wife and I have talked about it almost every year for about 4 years. I never remember to register in time though. Last time I looked it said allow 6 months to get registered, verified and get your passes before the show opened.

Hopefully someone will do some tasteful mods, not likely though. SEMA tends to be everything bad about the aftermarket.
