No need for a PM. I'll just post here so everyone can use for reference.

SCOOP Part # 22828242 $87.96 (comes painted black already
DEFLECTOR Part # 23180572 $45.35
14' Hood Liner Part # (pending) $55.00
Bolts and Alum pieces....around $50 total.

I also bough some metal cutting wheels for cut off tool I used.

I did buy a baffle piece that goes on top of the radiator but it ended up being the wrong part. I'll have to see if I can find the correct ZL1 part # and try again.

Thanks man I'm really interested on doing this to my 14 v6! Where did you get those parts for that price if you don't mind me asking. Everywhere I've seen it is 150-250. It comes painted black? Matte or gloss?

I think this looks alot better than the hex vents. And cheaper too. This might have to be my next mod. So it comes painted black, is it glossy, or like a semi gloss, or matte? Kind of looks semi in the pics.

The vent comes in semi-gloss black

The scoop/vent part for around $100 comes in a satin/semi-gloss black color... You can also get them pre-painted in available 2014 factory colors straight from GM, but they are $250-300+ for the painted ones depending on where you look.

23176239 - Ashen Gray
23176238 - Black (I think this one is gloss black, but not 100% certain)
23176242 - Blue Ray
23176244 - Bright Yellow
23176245 - Crystal Red
23176243 - Red Hot
23176246 - Red Rock Metallic
23176240 - Silver Ice
23176241 - Summit White

I've seen pictures of plenty of people that have used their 10-13 hood liner, and just cut a hole in it... Problem is that the vent is kind of right in the middle of the Chevy bowtie.

I would hate to cut a hole in my hood for that. But it really looks amazing.
