Found out how to edit videos. The last lap in this short was the 1:41 lap, which starts at 9:01 shortly after passing the other black Mustang.

Thanks.

The track is New Jersey Motorsports Park's "Thunderbolt" course. It's about 2.25 miles long with 12 turns as we ran it, omitting the motorcycle chicane around T2 (goes right, right at pit out) and the chicane around T3.

Thunderbolt is one of two completely separate car tracks at the NJMP facility ("Lightning" is the other one), plus there's a go-kart track. The good news is that NJMP is only an hour from my house and an intermediate driver like me could get a lot of experience there, quickly. The bad news is that NJMP is only an hour from my house and an intermediate driver like me could go broke.

All times w/ stock (including tires and pads) 2014 1LE.

Buttonwillow 13cw: 7/27/14; Lap time 2:07.076
Laguna seca: 8/24/14; Lap time 1:48.751
Sonoma Raceway: 9/3/14; Lap time 1:56.4
Buttonwillow 13cw: 9/20/14; Lap time 2:04.922

I might go to Fontana this weekend to try my hand at getting some lap times but have had bad luck with tires and brakes at almost every event.

Hookedup - to be only 2 seconds off the pace of anybody's 1LE is encouraging . . . I need to find, ummm, about 3 more seconds somewhere

Almost 3 sec a lap faster than last year thanks to Detroit Speed suspension, headers and CAI.

Couldn't get a clear track last session when the track and car were at their best but here goes:

Daytona International Raceway: 2:21
it was chilly out (<50F when we started running in the morning.) Hot lap was mid day closer to mid 60's outside.

http://youtu.be/WPZHQdfrFOY

^ video of the 2 best laps. The car in front of me is a ZL1.

Car was stock except for Carbotech XP8s, Motul RBF-600, hi flo cats and CAI intake.

This was my first event ever so I'm happy with it. My oil temp gauge (Digital-DIC) did max out as others have experienced.
