So, I got a surprise when I got to the dealership, was standing beside the car, decided to start her up with the remote start, and heard the rumble she had beneath her!.. turned out she was equipped with Borla Cat back's

I was thinking about a convertible too but couldn't find one in that 11 year to compare!I prolly would have took a 12 or 13 if it was a sweet deal like yours !And yea, I'm not a fan of the refresh front nor rear! Unless it's the 1LE or Z/28!

So after a phone call to GM I now must wait for them to contact the dealership whom would not work on the car. So basically I got told a lie by the dealership in which I bought the car from?

The car does come up as Certified Pre Owned when they search in their system. And I do have paperwork from my purchase claiming it to be Certified pre Owned, Can I take any legal action against the dealership in which I bought the car from, this is going to create a lot of head aches for me, and delay my desire to store the car for the winter, as I will likely be messing around trying to get the issue resolved with the reverse light.

You shouldn't be having headaches ! Just change the taillights if you don't want to worry about them! But I do understand that you might not feel like you have to change the taillights that was on your new car . But I hope everything works out and fast.If everything else is fine on the car than you still made out with a steal!

I had that exact car except it was a 1LT/RS ! I sold mine to the dealer for 21,000 with only 3000 miles after a year and a half!

I would hold out for a V8, can get one for around this price if you look around, unless you dont want a v8

I live in DC, I didn't want a V8. I saw a '13 V8 BMR SS auto with 18k+ miles on it, but the dealer wanted $28.5k OTD

Haha! yea, my 2LT RS has everything I want except the Navi as stated above. Im loving her. Just put a CAI and 20% tint on her. Thinking about an MRTv2 exhaust, afterburner taillights, ghosted side markers, and a JDP halo kit.

I planned on keeping her, but I see a lot of people trading theirs in after 1-3 years. I wonder if I should trade mine in for a 15, 16 or brand new in a couple years

Agreed, I bought mine new and swore I would never buy another new car. I was constrained to not having any significant mods to just keep a warranty that never actually fixed some of the problems.

Save money, buy used and mod to your hearts content.

Yea , I loved mine ! I actually traded it in for my SS ! I wanted to correct myself ! And SS was what I always wanted but dealer didn't have the color or year and most wanted to play hard ball! But why in the world would you trade for a 15? Mines a keeper because I love the retro 1st Gen look , nothing like it !
