What type of oil do I buy to change my ZL1's differential fluid?
Like the title says, I want to change my differential fluid, but can't seem to find what type of oil I should use to change it.

get this 3qts because the differential holds a little over 2qts.

Driver side of differential there's a drain and fill plug on top of one another. Use a 3/8's ratchet extension as the tool to remove the plugs.

Go fast, please.

Very simple to do. Took less than 30 minutes on mine and that's with jacking the car up.

The above Delco 104034 already contains the required additive.

ZL1 doesn't require the additive if you use the GM lube. "Regular" rears do.
For those rears needing the additive, like our SS, I put a little oil in from the first bottle then put my additive in the oil bottle that I just made room in. Then I added the rest of the first bottle to the car to ensure the entire additive bottle went in.

Probably not if you're in New Zealand. Just like 88862625 is the correct part# for Canada.
