Who would ever drive there camaro into a car wash? Apparently this person

Car washes are fine for most daily drivers. I'm not THAT militant about them. However, I will be hand washing/detailing my Camaro. I'm sure there will come a time when I don't have the gumption to do it myself, and I will have to pay someone, but it's highly doubtful that it will ever see the inside of a car wash.

Can't say the same thing for my Buick SUV. It's 5 years old, and I'm too short to wash the roof anyway. It gets the drive through treatment. However, it does get a good polish/wax every 6 months or so, and it still looks great!!! I know the owner of the car wash well, and she doesn't have a problem taking her Corvette through the tunnel.

Hey...maybe it was one of those AVIS rental cars. You know they're not going to spend that much time on them.

Salt water NOT!!! LMAO - I'm a Process Engineer - OK here what soft water is : water with no hardness - Inside of every softener is what they call resin - its in two different forms but I will keep it simple - the two different resins mix together and resemble sand - the salt regenerates the resin to give it polarity. Then salt water goes to drain - Resin is happy and acts like a magnet and says " Hey Particulate !!!!" It grabs it and collects it till the next time the salt washes all that particulate to drain. So spot free rinse in long periods can strip your wax so if you do spot free rinse you better be on a wax program or live with the hard water spots.

I like to hand-wash mine, but this weekend I got home from a 12-hour drive across the midwest at 8PM and I was just too exhausted to scrub off the thick layer of bugs myself, so I put her through a touchless car wash.

For a lot of us, this goes against what we'd do for our own cars but think about these things...

1. Maybe he lives in an apartment and doesn't have a place to wash his car.
2. He just spent $5 and 2 minutes to wash his car. How much does it cost you and how long does it take for your car?
3. Maybe it's "just a car" for him. He may move on to something else when the newness wears off on the Camaro.
4. Maybe he's headed to pick up his girlfriend for a date and didn't have time to hand wash it.

Just some thoughts...

I would have no choice i live in an apt so thanks.
