I've done a handful of air bags. Then I met my wife and settled down.
Seriously why remove the mag ride?

His car is bad ass as shit. I've been following his build he just redid the top end. Got rid of his 2.7 Kenne Bell and went to a 4L Kenne Bell. All on bags. Car runs high 8's I believe. It's nasty as hell. I like it a lot. The bagged looked is sick when sitting still, but u gotta raise up to drive and I assume it's either stiff as shit or bouncy as shit.

Not sure I wanna remove it ya know. I love the way the car rides and I have no experience with em so I'm and not sure what to expect. It's not my daily driver but I do beat the snot out of it in the summer and I'm doing a few new things like 3pc wheels and just think It would look sick. Here is another pic of the GT500 ![]() I'll give ya a ring Jeremy! |

Bagged ZL1 would be a very rare animal and look amazing!
Any idea roughly what a nice setup would cost? |

The Mag ride on this car is the center piece of this car, You paid a lot money in the purchase price for it. Now you want to tear it out for 4 condoms and a air pump. Just so the car can sit on the ground when its parked. Heaven Help Me....

I've got airbags on my Mustang actually. The system I use is Airrex and it's been a phenomenal system to work with. I originally really wanted the system for car shows, but getting in and out of driveways, going over speed bumps are no longer an issue for me, and in that sense it's been so much more convenient where I wont have to worry about rubbing or scraping stuff off the car. It's a comfortable system, a lot better than a few coilover systems I've had in the past, but it's also rebound adjustable too on the shocks so you can really fine tune it with which PSI you're running. Best of all though, the Airrex system is an enclosed system already pre-built in a box so that you don't have to custom fabricate something and spend a boat load of money going with a custom fiberglass box or put wood paneling in there, you can simply install it, which is a lot quicker than other companies, get it on the car, and get running right away. A lot of these builds I find for air suspension can take 2-3 days to fabricate something, but Airrex will install in about 8 hours or so. Here's a picture of my car and the system that comes with when you purchase a whole kit (sorry for the dirty wheels, this was right after installing it):

I am considering AirLift. How much noise do you get in the cabin from the compressor?
