Last years 2014 LSX Rumble event in Atlanta Ga. Decided to go play one weekend and enter the Gen 5 class and see how I would do against the drag race veterans. The event was 1/2 second Index racing on a pro tree. My 3 qualifying runs were 13.500 , 13.500, and then a 13.6?? So I figured I could remain fairly competitive if I could be consistent each run. Wasn't expecting a cold front that came thru that night to drop temps and humidity so much for the 10 am elimination round 1. I tried to brake on the big end a little but still broke out. I wasn't thrilled I pulled the only COPO in the class on the first round. I wasn't used to watching a fast car close in on me at that rate. Very hard to judge the finish line timing for a newbie like me. Anyways, enjoy the music that I was jamming to if nothing else. I was there to have fun.

Obtw, gotta love my buddy's advice that was caught on audio as he leaned in the window on my first pass. He said "on yellow you'd better be hauling *ss". Lol.
