SLP tvs 2300 install

Hi everyone! Well, I had the supercharger cam installed and I figured, WT$&#($, Ill install a slp tvs 2300 on my 2014 ILE now too! I have been reading that there is a hood clearance issue with these kits on the 14's. Does anyone know of a way to modify the heat extractor to make it work or can I only get the SLP's Hood Heat Extractor? And if the slp heat extractor, who has them for really cheap? Thanks in advance!!

You had a supercharger cam installed before you wanted to have a supercharger even?

There is a clearance issue with the heat extractor. I put the SLP one on when I put SLP supercharger on. You can try just removing the bottom tray and see what happens but I would get the SLP heat extractor.

I would remove the factory hood vent and once you have the SC installed see if it clears with the drip tray removed, if not then get the SLP vent.
There is no way to modify the factory vent for clearance and have it look good.

FYI the SLP extractor & drip tray looks factory, they did a nice job on it.

I have the slp drip tray. It is very nice. The finish is not quite on par with stock, but it fits great. In one way it looks better because it is more of a matte finish. I also like the slp letters on it now. They are subtle. Again the fit is amazing and so are the directions. I would just go ahead and get it. It will keep engine bay cleaner than taking out the stock drip tray (if it is as simple as that).

Ordering it now! Thanks for the pics. DO you have any of the engine bay? How do you like it? What tune did you use? Thanks!

No problem.

JRE is handling my tuning. I had to upgrade fuel system as my pressure was dropping at wot. A BAP would have been sufficient, but after a few wot pulls, I want more power in the future. So instead of spending money on something I would replace down the road, I just said what the hell, and went with squash return style. I have both the squash kit and a 3.6 in pulley. I have yet to install either. Hopefully I will be able to install both soon. I also switched over to SCT handheld instead of intune. I would recommend finding a good tuner before buying anything to tune the car.

I still drive it here and there but no wot. My brother has a lift but he has been pretty busy with his 2015 STI. As soon as his car is off the lift, you better believe that squash is going in!

Overall, I love the kit. Very easy install.

Much better look without the SLP badges plastered all over the SC....

I had thought the fuel pump was supposed to be good for somewhere in the 600+ range as its the same pump as the ZL1 isn't it ?
