On the camarotracking.com website. Under railcar # for NMMZCF it says In transit and SP 517508.

according to automated system it was loaded at the plant on 08-25-09 at 213pm. Hopefully that train gets moving soon!!!

I just checked for you. Here's what the recording said:

"Load arrived Toronto yard on 8/25 at 1133 am. No ETA available."

You have to speak loudly on the voice prompt and ask for location when it asks what info you're looking for.

Dealer called. Sales Mgr won't be in until 1PM this afternoon, EST time. That's 2.5 hours from now! I do have an order form that we printed out from the internet, where we special ordered the car, and the colors do clearly state IOM exterior and Inferno Orange leather interior. I'm wondering if he gave me the wrong order number when I called sometime in July (order originally made in May). At any rate, I'm awaiting his response very impatiently!

I don't believe all rail cars will begin ETTX. If you look at the camarotracking.com site, there are a number of them that begin with SP, CNA, SOO, CN, SWA, etc. Most are ETTX though.

I hope that is the case. If they just printed out the computer/internet form when they placed the order that's not necessarily the work bench form that is officially submitted/accepted by GM. It clearly says "work bench" form on the top (and I want to say the border is like light blue or something). Anyways, if they sat down with you in front of a computer and clicked on all the options and colors and stuff and then printed that out for you, they could have not submitted it then. When they did actually submit the order it would turn into the work bench order and that's what GM would be working off of. Hopefully they didn't screw up the color when submitting the order after printing it out for you.

Last update for mine is: arrived Toronto Yard 11:12PM 8/25/09, No ETA.

I beleive they all ship out via CSX. Here's the info from the "official built and bayed" thread at http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22850.

Answer: First and most important. Do not ever try to or talk to live personnel at the railroad or trucking companies We are being provide with this information from GM to use on automated tracking systems. If we go beyond the parameters and press the buttons to talk to a live body, they will notify GM and all our data updates regarding shipping will end. We have just recently been warned as several members contacted a trucking company to see when delivery was going to be. Don' do it as everyone else would suffer the concequeses behind you.

Follow the phone prompts but do not speak to live personnel.
