I've been contiplating the same, M7 stingray or 2016 SS or 1LE camaro. Either way my current SS is gonna go!

How much did your insurance go up switching from SS to vette? When I was looking for a new car it came down to an E60 M5 with the V10 engine or the camaro. M5 insurance was $400mo and camaro was $190mo, so that is mostly was steered me to the camaro.

Insurance went up about 60 bucks per month. it was like ouch but not the end of the world the corvette get like 30mpg so I am saving more than that in gas lol
