Which TH400 are you guys using
I think I have decided to go with a TH400 instead of a 4L80. It's a weekend driver and gets trailered to shows/track so highway/interstate driving is limited. I think I will go with a manual valve body and trans brake. I know Jakes and RPM make great products but checking to see what other experience you guys have with other companies.

Local race tranny builder done mine with a TCI VB, good drum, and red clutches.
If your local guy cant build a th400 to hold 800hp he needs to quit building trannys. |

FTI builds a great TH400, we use them in our shop car.
We are an FTI dealer if you need any help getting one or give them a call direct. Thanks Chris |

If I was going to buy one it would be from FTI. I have used 3 different converter from FTI in two cars. They are great to work with.

I have an FTI converter in my car now and I'm very happy with it. I tried doing some searches for people that went from a 4L80 to the TH400 and the difference but didn't find anything.
