What fuel octane do you guys run?
I just wondered because I have been running 93 and I feel like it is getting above average fuel Eco at 24-25 combined city and hwy... for the 6.2 auto.
I just don't know if it could be too rich over time.

I always use 93% or 91% if it isn't available.

Fuel ratings are not %. its 93 octane not 93%. The only % there is is ethanol %. usually 10% ethanol. The SS requires 91 or higher. I always use 93. Iv had 5 LS motors (4 were Trucks) and all got better mileage on 93 and pinged on 87.

There is no way you are averaging 24-25 mpg combined city/hwy in a 2SS automatic convertible. If the DIC is telling you that, after you've reset it each time you fill up, then it sounds like it needs to be recalibrated/looked at by GM. Failing that, calculate it yourself at each fill up, and see if the same number results. If you're currently calculating it, double check your math .
Most similarly situated SS owners here are averaging under 20 mpg combined city/highway (probably closer to 18 mpg). I would also imagine that most are putting 93 octane in, where it's available. My car is almost identical to yours, save for the convertible roof (I have a sunroof). The absolute BEST I ever did, with a very light foot on a 260 mile highway trip, was 27 mpg (according to the DIC) on narrow snow tires.

Just because you cant keep your foot out of it doesnt mean he cant. When my car was stock I could get the same. I never got under 20 unless i was playing with it. I even saw 29mpg and thats confirmed by refiling at the same pump same day 70 miles. I had to really try to get 29. Even GM states on the window sticker 29mpg. Now with all my mods I average 18mpg if I can keep my foot out of it. I get 25 highway @75 and that's confirmed with a 265 mile trip. granted I live in the country not stop and go city traffic. Most of my driving is around 60 with 30mph zones every 5 miles.

PER the manual (MFG. Recommended Fuel) If the vehicle has the 6.2L V8 engine (VIN Code W) or the 6.2L V8 engine (VIN Code J), use premium unleaded gasoline with a posted octane rating of 91 or higher. For best performance, use premium unleaded gasoline with a posted octane rating of 93.
AND Use of the recommended fuel is an important part of the proper maintenance of this vehicle. To help keep the engine clean and maintain optimum vehicle performance, we recommend the use of gasoline advertised as TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline.

93 octane always. I average around 19-20 per tank and I don't have a light foot.

I have a 2011 1SS L99 Auto. With CAI Doug Thorley headers. JBA high flow cats X pipe CNC ported throttle body Flowmaster Thunder 409 Stainless exhaust. I was only getting 14.3 with the AFM.
After having a tune by New Era they eliminated the AFM I run on all 8 now. I'm getting 19.8 and on trips to Maryland & Oshawa Canada. And I have a lot of people in are club we do not baby these cars.

I always use 93 octane Shell "top tier" gas! All my driving is city and I get 18 mpg with a mix of paddles/sport auto. I dont baby it but I'm not driving hard either, well not very much!

Trust me, I'm not driving with my foot to the floor everywhere. GM's sticker also does not say 29 mpg anywhere for an SS. The stock SS automatics are rated at 15/24/19 (combined). He also mentioned combined city/highway, not strictly highway.
