Steering wheel problem

So after I installed the new wheels and springs. I of course went for an alignment. I went in the back and watched the guy do the alignment because people have messed up on past vehicles of mine. So everything is aligned correctly, so I get back into to my car to go home and don't notice any pulling or anything. But I do notice my steering wheel is slightly turned to the left when going down the road. So when I try to hold it strait. It's starts pulling to the right a little bit. What could be causing this. PLEASE HELP. IT'S ANNOYING !!!

Take it back to the wheel alignment shop and ask them to redo the alignment but center the steering wheel, that and or the Crown on the road is doing that to your wheel. I notice it to on my Camaro from time to time when driving have to hold it slightly to the left or right depending where the crown or ridge on the road is.

Yeah they shouldn't charge you if they didn't do it right the first time.

How much does a lifetime alignment cost ? That would probably be the best since I do so much to my car also haha

Dude, I don't even bother doing my alignment besides the routine dealer oil change. In Michigan our roads are so bad it's not worth it, took less than 400 miles to screw up my alignment already. These roads are beyond terrible, they are doing much construction(finally) lately but you still can't avoid bad roads. This car, and the V6 model adjust on their own depending on the surface of the road. When I drive over bumps the car either glides right or left, it's annoying but you can't do much about it. Your car probably has no issues.

OP, just go back and get your steering wheel centered for free. They shouldn't mind, they should be embaressed that they didn't get it right the first time.

My GM dealer's Service Center told me that there was no spec for the steering wheel being visually straight when the car traveled straight.

They actually argued with me when I told them that the customer expectation was that the wheel would be centered on a brand new car. Yes, I made them fix it under warranty.

Clay Chevrolet Norwood MA. Fair deal on the car. Extremely bad service center. Just an FYI for those near the Automile in MA.

Yeah I went back. They said it was a new guy who did it so I guess that's what happened. They didn't charge me and I went to firestone and got a lifetime alignment package. But I told them my story about all this and they ended up giving me 20% off for hard times ! Good people

I do not recommend taking any Camaro to Firestone. They did an alignment on our 94 Z28 and they had to pay $1800 to replace the front end. They didn't have the right tool to do the alignment so they screwed it up. I haven't taken that Camaro back to them since them. The lifetime was $180. I think..

You do know that you don't have to take it back to the same dealership for warranty work don't you?
