i think you will get picked up pretty soon. I put my order in the end of may, so you may get picked up pretty soon here if they do actually get 30-40 per month as someone stated earlier in this forum. i think i'm right at the edge there, so i may get picked up a month after you. i went thru the viz last month and asked him to tell me the status of my order, and he told me TPW of 7/27, but he made a mistake... i'll just stick w/ gettin updates from my salesman.

I found out a week or two ago from Eric that I should finally move on 9/17 and it should be delivered around first week of November. Hope that helps.

Ok nevermind my rant. Mine just moved to 3000 today with a TPW of 9/14! Woohoo...it's so nice to finally know at least when it'll be produced.

I'll keep track of all my dates and I'm sure I'll be following it from the rail stations all the way to Grapevine so you guys can get a better idea of the transit time. Although it seems if there aren't enough cars to fill up a truck or rail car, that's where the real waiting happens.
Maybe with all the cars Classic gets in I won't have to wait long

First off, this is nothing against Eric or Viz, who are both super busy but go above and beyond to keep us Crazy Camaro lovers up to date. Eric, I cant thank you enough bud!

Ok guys and girls, I had a tpw of 8/24. Was at 3400 back on 8/21 or so. Well I was there all week from what Eric and Viz could see. Got a crazy idea because like you others that are waiting, losing sleep and going nuts waiting for the car I wanted to see if I could get some more info since I noticed a lot of folks with tpw 8/24 getting vins. Well I called GM customer service skipped through to a rep and asked if they could give me a update.... 3mins later.. yes sir your car is in transit to dealership!

Go from 3400 to in transit with one phone call. Now I just need my vin to track where she is at in her transit.

Come to find out the site the dealerships use to check update sometimes gets backed up/doesn't give the most recent update. GM customer service will not give out vin or other privacy info but they can tell you based on order number whats happening with you car.

That's great pre-Onstar service!!!
But maybe when they start getting slammed worse than the Viz and Eric, they might end up changing their policy with that, never know.

I'm about to have to change my pants.
This is my first new car ever after driving POS's my whole life so I'm pretty excited. And it may come before my vacation at this rate! What more can a guy ask for? New car, new fiance (hopefully

Now the real obsession begins with the rail and truck tracking!!!
