I have to ask...

I know theres a million threads on this but their all from like 2011-2012. So i'd like some input now is there any advantage to using 93 octane gas on my 2012 v6 instead of 87-89

I run 93 in my 2012, seems to get better gas mileage than the 87-89...

Me thinks less spark retard which would make it a little peppier and more responsive at part throttle tip in.

Is it because all your threads get jacked and trolled?

I just started running 93 octane last week. I will report back after a few tanks.

Isn't this the guy who thought if he traded his SS for a 6 cyl, he would not have to pay taxes on the price of buying the new 6 cyl???

Or was that the guy who wanted his money back because the Chevy dealer did not have nitrogen to put in his green-capped valve stems?

Can't keep them straight. But the guy wanting to put a custom painted baseball bat in his trunk was the all time best thread ever!

So you're willing to pay 30-40 cents (or more) extra for a gallon of gas because it "seems to get better gas mileage". Apparently it isn't enough better MPGs for you to really notice, so what's the point?

And I thought 93 wasn't available in CA.
