We are not able to make it on Saturday, but would like to try again sometime. What an awesome site it would be to see all of us together!

It would be awesome!
I have a feeling this Saturday is not going to happen.:(
Our Dealer turned us on to Wheatfield's at One Pacific Place in Omaha. It is just off the interstate, and the best place to eat. Maybe we could get together for breakfast. I would gladly drive there for the food and cars, and they have a "safe" parking lot!

I am still waiting for my car to get here!! Doesn't look like there is any chance I'll be picking up before Saturday. On the plus side, we do have season tix, so we'll be in Lincoln for every home game if you decide on a makeup date.

GO BIG RED!!!

Kansas City meet

Hey there!

We are planning a Kansas City meet and would love it if anybody near KC could make it! (we have some coming from Wichita so I suppose that's a 2.5 hour drive). Anyways, the tentative plan is October 17th, around 5pm (tbd), at the Legends at Village West shopping center. We will park our cars, drool over them for an hour or two, then go to dinner (probably Hooters), and play with them some more as it gets dark. It is a Saturday night so you have lots of time to drive up there and drive back as long as you aren't freakishly far away. We already have 10+ camaro owners in addition to future camaro owners interested in meeting on that date. Please let me know if you are available and planning to attend, because I would like to get reserved parking spaces I will post details as soon as the plan is set in stone.

Try2pas and I were out on Saturday night after the NE game and had a great time with them. We would love to get the group together in Lincoln ( its more has a more central location) and maybe on a Sunday so we arn't fighting the Game traffic.

Kearney is more central yet! We've got 4 colors here that we've seen - red, orange, black and silver. Let's line em up!

Why are you and your RJT always in my hood brother?
Have you ever been to The Wilderness Ridge golf club? They have a new breakfast menu from 1000 -1400. Very safe parking and totally cool lodge to eat in. Whatta say? The only Sunday I can't do is 9/27. We are going to St. Louis to watch the Packers pound the Rams.

I think they mean central between NE and KS, not sure

The camaro is going in the garage beginning of Oct. so will have to see what the weather is looking like on going to KC.

It can start snowing anytime from Oct on and its not unheard of to get snow in April. Usually its cold from Nov. to about March, with chances of snow being more likely during these months as well.

I plan to store the camaro from Oct. until April or so, depends on the weather. Of course this was the coldest summer on record so we'll have to see if that will continue into winter this year. I think it supposed to be an El Nino this year, which I guess means warm and wet. The bottom line is no one knows for sure. If you don't like the weather in NE wait 10 minutes, it'll change.

I'll consider mine stored mid Oct through mid to late March. Since I'll drop insurance to what min is required, it's going to be tough on those nice days to not to just take it for a quick spin.
I may put it up on floor jacks for the time being, start it up occasionally and let it run for a bit.
