JRHaus Bear Problem Resolved
Well it seems that Haus was able to resolve his bear problem as of last eve.
I stopped by after the KMart Cruise-in and you will never guess what I found in his entry way to their home? ![]() Well needless to say, I was happy to see it in the entry way and not being used elsewhere with a little wine , fire going in the fireplace, mood music...![]()

Auburn IN, Kruse Auction & Car Show
Well I drove the camaro up to the car show and auction in Auburn yesterday with a neighbor and had great time. He is a retired engineer from GM who designed a number of things but his claim to fame are the bumpers on many of the 70's and early 80's vets and then he was moved to the camaro group and designed the 3rd Gen IROC. His 88 IROC is at "the camaro doctor" right now having some restoration work. He plans to join us when we formalize our club with all gens.
Anyway the highest priced one I saw that didn't sell in the auction (high bid 32K) but he would the owner would let go was asking 48k and would let it go for cash, 45K. It was a beautiful Black with White rag top. Best car I saw all day. No picture since he was covering it up.:-( No here are the ones I am looking into buying. I may get the first one once I see how the wife reacts to the 2010 vs a 67, 68, or 69. I am really leaning toward the Yenko Restoration, but he first burgundy is a hell of a deal and the light blue 69 was beautiful. I was so close to pull the cash from savings and buying it yesterday. (Last Burgundy). Great show and auction though... spent 8 hours and did not get through all of the cars.

Hey all, hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday weekend! We made it back form Carter Caves with no problems!
Gins... I am sure you are right that I will want to see whatever Darin has up his sleeve! I hope he and his wife can make it to Max and Ermas. Like I said, I will be there for sure but I may have to bring ole` blue as the SS may still be getting the front end fixed. It goes in Tuesday. They say its a 2 day fix but... As for the bear I will keep my eyes open for it.Heinz... have we had any replys? Who all so far is planning on the Max and Ermas meet? Did any of you guys notice... see how well you know your Camaros... Gins posted a pic of a maroon 67, a black 68 and blue 69 from the Auburn auction. All 3 of them had the wrong center caps on the wheels! The 67s should have the short caps as on the pics of the 68 and 69 as to where the 68/69 would get the taller rally caps like on the 67! Sorry I had the 68+ rally on mine and had to get the shorties! I just wish the car was together so I could drive it ![]() Start: ![]() Current: ![]() ![]() When hell freezes: (motivation)

Be thiking about this next year...
![]() Not enough time to plan it this year but next year if the Hocking thing goes well. This will be a weekend trip with an overnight... maybe 4 - 4.5 hours to get there. Next year, just keep it in the back of your mind! |

There is supposed to be something similar in Ohio called "The Rattler" though I haven't found the exact course yet.
