What to do with $3000

So I have a 2SS Auto with RS arriving (IBM with silver stripes) at the dealer this month. After a lot of deliberation, I decided against the GFX kit for various reasons.

I have $3000 that I had set aside for the GFX, and I am looking for suggestions on exterior cosmetic and performance mods.

Any ideas are welcome...

Invest in my company.

Ok, I kid.

I'd paint some ghost stripes on or something like that. CAI and Exhaust would be pretty cool too.

Eibach Pro-Kit springs $299 alignment $59, powder-coat the stock whels black $400-450 and have the hood painted matte black $400 and 100 horse (NOS) dry nitrous system with all saftey accessories $1200-1500 is a great start.

Thumbs up

Let's see?!?? 3k? I would do a nice nasty, but street-able COMP cam, nice flowing heads, either AFR's or TRICKFLOW, a CAI, and STAINLESS WORKS headers and exhaust. That's what I would do.
GOOD LUCK!

So no aftermarket cosmetic mods (other than painted stripes)? Is that because nothing out there today is any good?

So what does your company do? Might be worth looking into. Especially since you GOT BEAT BY A GIRL.

OP.....If your not paying all cash for your car. Then use half and put in an account to have fall back on moeny for payments and the redo heads, exhasut and CAI. Go buy some vinyl. and call it a day.

Headers/Exhaust and mufflers get my vote. These cars are way too quiet from factory for my tastes. Of course some people like them just fine but not me.

Pretty much. There is stuff like engine covers grill inserts and stuff but for the money you're ready to spend I'd go with the headers, exhaust and CAI.

I deff. would not put the vinyl stripes on because when they got old or chipped up its harder to fix. My 98 jeep has them and I tried to eraser them off but no go because they are sun baked in to the paint. The eraser helped some but it looks like cr@p now, I can send you pics if you want. So get painted stripes and ARH headders w/cats kit and go from there.
