I know Coop. Check out the post after it. Mine weren't rectangular though. I'm wondering what kind of exhaust was on my car? It's gone now. Whatever it was, it was quiet.

I hear you. I have the npp exhaust so I don't wanna do a muffler delete. All I want is to remove that "box" and go with 2 bottle style resonators. But I read here all kinds of inlet/outlet diameters. Don't know what to do here. ....

I have the npp and I'm getting the MagnaFlow x-pipe what type of straight pipe should I use to complete the modification. I have a 15' 1LT/RS automatic . I was going to try the x-pipe and mrt v1.0 but i want to keep the quad tips so I'm just gonna try the x-pipe and straight pipe in place of the resonator & h-pipe

You'll want it to look like this in the end. Don't pay attention to the muffler delete, just the middle of the exhaust.

I am planning on doing the same thing with my exhaust, but I have a quick question. When I search for 'Magnaflow Resonated X Pipe' both 11386 and 12468 show up. Looking on the Magnaflow website neither show compatible for 5th Gen Camaro's but I imagine that is because they are not direct replacements. One is 5"x8" and the other 5"x11". Any suggestions on which to get or if it makes much of a difference?

Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
